If you've chosen the optional airport transfers, our team will arrange to pick you up either from Kilimanjaro Airport or Arusha Airport and transfer you to your hotel in Moshi.

Once you've settled in, we'll schedule a pre-trek briefing at your hotel in Moshi. It's recommended to arrive at least one day before the trek begins to ensure you're well-rested and prepared. During the briefing, we'll discuss the itinerary in detail, review your equipment, and provide any necessary rentals to ensure you have everything needed for a successful trek

On the first day of your Machame Route Kilimanjaro hiking adventure, you will start by driving to Machame Gate at an elevation of 1,800 meters to complete the registration process. From there, your trek through the lush rainforest begins, gradually ascending as you immerse yourself in the natural beauty surrounding you. Finally, you will reach Machame Camp, situated at 3,010 meters, where you can enjoy a delicious dinner and spend the night before continuing your journey.
